Chipotle Mexican Grill - Iowa City

Every open table was dirty with leftover food from previous customers. The food was just okay, but they messed up my partner's burrito by leaving out four toppings. Unfortunately, I couldn't check the burrito before we left because it was wrapped up, and we only discovered the mistake when he started eating it at the hotel. I tried to call the restaurant, but they don't take phone calls; instead, they directed me to a virtual assistant via email. Needless to say, we didn’t receive a remake or even a discount for a future visit.

This makes me sad to write because I loved chipotle. I understood when prices went up and employees got paid more. I stand behind raises wages, but they also cut everything in half while raising the price. The food has went down hill, quality and quantity. I used to be able to get a full bowl and be full with leftovers. I didn't even get half of a bowl today. On top of now charging for the type of meat you choose, they have upped the extra charge yet again. I paid $15 for beans and hard rice. This is the 4th time I've had issues here, I will not be returning.

They make serving three people in line take 10 minutes somehow, and then when you finally get down the line, they refuse to serve you ingredients that are right in front of you saying that they are for online orders only. Cool. Thanks for wasting our time. We walked out and are never going back. It was only occasionally worth our time before, anyways.

I was a competitive bodybuilder for 20 years. Now I just like to stay in shape and eat meals that cater to that healthy life style; which, Chipotle does well at. Besides having great sources of protein and carbs it also has employees who are hospitable and pleasant which is a must for me

I go here almost every week. Today's service was awesome so I had to write them a review. Luis made my burrito more accurately then I've seen previously and was fun to chat briefly with. I've noticed many times the lady at the register always speaks kindly and is very helpful. This good of staff can be rare so I highly recommend going.
