Awesome food! Best damn rueben I've had in years! French Toast was great, coffee delicious, black bean burger was tasty. The roasted potatoes were good but undercooked a bit. Overall highly recommend!

My favorite coffee shop in town. Amazing vegan cookies, muffins, and meals, and lots of options for vegetarians and omnivores, too! My favorite is the French toast, but if the Cooke's are fresh, don't miss those.

We dropped by this place for breakfast and really enjoyed it. The atmosphere is warm and cozy, with plenty of seating available. We ordered the lemon poppyseed muffins, scrambled tofu, and a breakfast burrito, along with some chai. Everything was delicious and healthy! I would definitely return if I'm ever in Iowa City again. Just a heads up, parking is available on the street.

I've been to this cafe several times. The first was for a pub trivia night where I enjoyed a cold beer. Then, I visited for a quick school group meeting over coffee. Most recently, I met a friend there for a light meal. I've always liked this place and its menu, which features all-day breakfast, sandwiches, soups, and more. They are very accommodating to vegans and vegetarians, offering a variety of options. The staff is friendly, and the chef even came out to check on how I liked my black bean soup.

Delicious food! I hadn't eaten here in a few years, but we visited over the weekend and discovered some changes. There’s now a small bar and a wide variety of meat options for meat lovers. Fortunately, they still offer plenty of choices for vegetarians and vegans, along with a few options for those who need gluten-free meals. I ordered a hummus spinach wrap filled with olives, peppers, and dairy-free cheese—delicious! The service was friendly. However, the acoustics could use some improvement; even with the restaurant being a little more than half full, it was hard to hear each other. The restaurant still showcases artwork that’s available for sale. Plus, there’s convenient parking in the ramp or metered parking on the street, and restrooms are available.
