La Wine Bar Restaurant - Iowa City

I was looking for Korean Fried Chicken (KoFC) in eastern Iowa but had trouble finding it. I came across a place that offered Korean spicy fried nuggets instead, which wasn't exactly what I was looking for but still tasted good (although not very spicy). I also tried the portobello mushroom fries and strawberry tea, both of which were better than the chicken and worth a visit on their own. The staff was attentive and friendly, the restaurant was clean and played kpop music. Online ordering seemed popular and on time. I would recommend trying this place out if you are in the area.

The food at this restaurant is amazing, with authentic Korean flavors. The spicy fried chicken and sweet and spicy chicken nuggets are some of the best chicken dishes you can find. They are incredibly tasty.

I would suggest trying the boneless chicken wings and the beer hot pot at this restaurant. The atmosphere is more Chinese than Korean, but they also serve soju. Overall, it's worth a visit if you haven't been there before.

Anybody who gives this less than 5 stars does not know good Korean BBQ. This place bangs. I?ve been living in Iowa City for 5 years now, trust me when I say this place is worth the stop. Would recommend the sizzling beef. Great dish for Korean BBQbeginners as well.

Love trying new places and WOW!!! Everything was fabulous! The staff was very helpful and explained some of the items on the menu to us. Definitely will be back!!
