Ramen Belly - Iowa City

This restaurant in Iowa City serves the best tonkotsu pork belly I have ever had. I highly recommend it to anyone in the area!

I have been to this restaurant several times and have never had a negative experience. The ramen is fantastic and the pot stickers are absolutely amazing.

I had an amazing experience at this restaurant! The food was delicious, especially the pot stickers. The service was exceptional as well - the staff really knows how to take care of their guests. Shout out to my server Whit, he was fantastic. Definitely a must-visit restaurant!

Good addition to Iowa City/Coralville for ex students visiting their alma mater. Wish there'd been a good ramen place like this when we went to school here.The place is trendy and the service was good. Most importantly, the food was awesome. Maybe the best sashimi I've had since leaving California think succulent slices of salmon. The gyoza was also interesting and very tasty. For mains, I had the tonkatsu ramen with pork belly. There wasn't much left of the bowl when I was done. That being said, I think the broth at places like Orenchi or Maru Ichi in mountain view are better. This one was a bit more medicinal and thinner. I did finish my bowl though. My son's Salmon Poke bowl was also devoured in similar fashion but there's not much a 14 yr old doesn't eat. My 10 yr old's Mama Ramen had a beef broth that was like a taiwanese beef noodle soup with ramen instead of the thick noodles. It was also good.We ate here with local friends and the bill came to $250 for 7 (3 kids) with one soda and one Wilson Cider.I'd come back for sure.

Overpriced ramen. Cost my wife and I $45 to get protein in our ramen bowls, no appetizers or drinks. No doubt the broth is delicious and the service was great, but I would never pay what I did again for broth and noodles.
