Tiki Tacos 'n Burgers 'n Wings

I don't usually leave reviews as a chef I always expect to be disappointed especially since good food is extremely hard to find in Iowa. Went here last Monday and tacos a la cart and they were all amazing as was my pain killer!!! We had finally found a great spot. Went back today, and my drink was absolutely terrible, but I guess I shouldn't have complained though, cus when we finally got our tacos, mine looked terrible and my boyfriends looked amazing!!!! I ordered mine without roasted veggies or queso, but what I got was only meat and queso, completely charred meat and only about 4-5 chunks per tacos, which I turned into one, which tasted terrible. I know better than to complain before my food comes though.Also last week the Brussels were sliced and absolutely amazing, today they were just cut in half but still pretty good. That extra work on the slicing just makes ?Will be back in hopes that if we come on a Monday it'll be just as good as the first time we tried it. The manager needs an attitude check though and some training.

Tiki Taco is always a great stop! They have a really interesting menu with interesting quirks like setting your food on fire (upon request) as well as setting your drinks on fire (also upon request). The food here is really good for the price and everything is very well seasoned and portioned. In terms of drinks they have a really nice variety of drinks with a wide range of prices! They also make a few virgin drinks if you are wanting a cocktail without the alcohol!

The queso and fries were delicious, but the beef tacos I had and the fajita tacos my friend had were just okay. We got the taco plates and when the waitress asked about sides, she didn't mention that everything except rice and beans was an upcharge. Also didn't mention that bacon was an upcharge on the mac and cheese. We were very surprised when our bill came and was about $15 more than expected.

Had such a fun experience at Tiki Taco! They were busy the night we stopped in, but Rachel took great care of us and made awesome suggestions. Food and drinks are amazing, it's worth getting the flight so you can try all their specialty blended drinks; one flight was enough for the two of us to share, unless you're really trying to party. The slightly spicy shrimp tacos definitely had a kick to them. We'll be back!

First and foremost walked in and seemed decent as it was my first time and experience with your restaurant. The menu looks great overall. But my main reason for my review is the value for food. The tacos we ordered were very lack luster for the price. The delivery of food was very messy. My carne asada tacos had very little meat and toppings for what a taco should have. My girlfriend didn't receive a spoon with her side and we requested one twice. The service was pretty horrible while the restaurant wasn't very busy when we ordered and arrived. This restaurant needs to really step up the quality of delivery of food and service. Prices need to reflect the portion sizes and quality. Also our table was dirty when we arrived also. 50¢ more to three items which were never changed in any way. Servers seemed to be untrained. Please do better! Especially for a local restaurant.
