Weekend brunch mimosa, and ****** Mary; then enjoyed their Chicken and Biscuits with a nice peppery gravy. Glad it was good for a walk-in/casual brunch on a holiday like Mothers
Busy Friday evening and a packed house. Our server told us she usually bartends but was helping out tonight. First time here. Draft selection for such a big place was average, but nothing great. We split the buffalo chicken dip, which was delicious and actually had a little spice. The small handful of chips with a sharable appetizer is a fail...since we were charged extra for additional chips just to finish what dip we had. Not cool. Also charges .75 for an ounce of crumbled blue cheese on side, too. Again, pick your battles. We also split a blackened chicken wrap. It was average, but lacked any real flavor. The blackened season was not there, and the chicken was bland as if processed or canned. The pizza around us looked solid, as did the burgers and the Friday fish special.Overall, cold beer, people watching and average food that's a lil pricey for what ya get. I mean 4 bucks for fries with a wrap? Would probably try one of Grandview's several other locations next time.
Great food, great drinks. And reasonably priced. Ask for Kylie she is the best
This place is a 100-year-old gem. The negative reviews come from people who have watched too many Kitchen Nightmares or Bar Rescues and want to be critics. You need to get a grip on yourselves. You’re not Gordan Ramsay. It’s sad. Really friendly staff, great drinks and food, but what really separates it from other bars in Columbus is the atmosphere. Downtown Grandview and you will find all kinds of people, young and old, in town and out, here to unwind and have a good drink and a meal. On all that they deliver better than any of the other places I’ve been in the city.
