Northstar Cafe In The Short North

The sweet basil burrito is hands down the most unique/best sandwich in all of Columbus. It is the only reason to go to Northstar and I hope they keep it on the menu!!!

My son and I came for burgers but ended up getting brunch since it was Sunday. I ordered the mushroom frittata and my son ordered pancakes. I love mushrooms and enjoyed my frittata but then I tasted my son’s pancakes and a whole new world opened up. They were cooked to perfection fluffy with crispy edges and so delicious! I was glad to devour his leftovers! I would definitely come back for pancakes if I ever return to Columbus.

Nice breakfast place. You order upfront and they bring you the food. The single origin coffee was so delicious. Their nitro cold brew is also cool. I loved biscuit and gravy. Definitely recommend if you are in Columbus.

Ordered lunch online. Wanted a pimento cheeseburger. Went and picked up the order and drove back to work. Got there to find there was no pimento cheese at all. I received meat on a bun. Was disappointed. Also arrived exactly when the order was to be ready and then drove just one mile away. The fries were cold. I would imagine they had been sitting in the bag a while.
