Feedback gevenWent for sushi and the staff were lovely and made sure to tell the kitchen I was coeliac and to prepare my food separately. They advised me that their GF fryer had broken so the only thing I couldn’t have on the GF menu was the chips. I assume they usually have a separate fryer so hopefully once it’s fixed we’ll be able to have the chips again!
Called up in advance and was advised there was a gluten free menu, however when ordering I was told that a number of items were not coeliac safe, for example the chips being fried in the same oil. I was also told I needed to sign a waiver, however this was never actually brought to the table. This did make me nervous though, and question the safety. When the food did arrive, I was also brought some gluten free soy sauce
Visited with partner who has coeliac so fully gluten free food and prep required. Called the restaurant in advance who confirmed they had a gluten free menu and were able to cater to coeliac requirements. On arrival we were given the gluten free menu but when ordering we were advised none of the hot food was gluten free anymore and that the menu needed updating. Following ordering a waiver was brought to the table to sign. Although I can understand why they have this, we’ve never been asked to do this before and it felt as though we were singled out for having a dietary requirement and almost made the person I was with concerned that having a waiver signed meant that they would take it less seriously. Staff were knowledgeable and the food was good. Just a shame we couldn’t have everything on the menu!
They have a gluten free menu and the staff were so helpful and careful when advising me what I could eat. They also gave me GF soy sauce with my sushi
