It was highly recommended and finally I tried these famous bean sputs chicken horfun. Chicken meats are soft and delicate, bean sputs are crispy, the horfun soup is super tasty, but it came in very small portion, my personal favorite would be the chicken feet.. The prices are slightly higher, then the normal bean sprouts chicken horfun prices in Ipoh.

Come early to wait before 6:00 or come to this store a little late before 8:00. Had a whole chicken, chicken legs, terrible fun and bean sprouts here. Taste is not bad, but a little expensive. Another recommended place for Ipoh City Chicken Hor fun compare with other places.

One of the top spots for bean sput, steamed chicken and hory fun soup. Very recommended local mates. Place is clean and tidy, not too full. Sop practice is critical at this moment and they fulfill. Absolutely come back. Kudos.

I have not had Ipoh's world famous bean sprout and chicken in 2 years, so I insisted that this be our first meal IMMEDIATELY upon our return. This was our first visit to Cowan St and their reputation did not disappoint! Looking past their humble storefront and decor, the food really speaks for itself. Noodles were silky soft in an EXTREMELY flavorful broth. Beansprouts plump and crisp and well seasoned with soy and white pepper. Chicken had great texture and flavour seasoned to perfection with subtle flavours from the oil and soy. The bonus chicken feet were braised to a perfect melt-in-your-mouth texture in a rich soul comforting sauce. Overall a GREAT welcome back to Ipoh meal!
