Carriers Arms East Bergholt - Ipswich

We stumbled over this place after a day to visit Flatford Mill, we wanted somewhere that was dog friendly, this matched the bill. We had a few drinks there and had a quick look at the menu, very extensive and not overpriced. The next evening we booked for a meal and were not disappointed, the food was well waiting, decent size part, staff were very satisfied and made my dogs feel very welcome. The next time we're in the area would definitely be back.

On Sunday for drinking and lunch. Beautiful traditional pub. Your classic English country pub. A very friendly welcome. Great service, though it was pretty busy. Extensive drinks “menu” and a very good selection of dishes. Wing for the crispy pig bell with Stilton Maische and Spinat, which was really good. My wife had roasted Turkey on Sunday and loved it. We go back and I can definitely recommend it.

Had a good meal here yesterday with my family Excellent food, nice atmosphere and the staff were very friendly and friendly.

Great pub in a lovely village with great food good service and fine wines Latest visit was even better as the standard was just as high and food even greater RECOMMENDED.
