Whether you are looking for a quick coffee break or a leisurely stay to chat and enjoy free wifi, this place has it all. You can also admire a diverse collection of artifacts and art from Southeast Asia. The staff and owner are incredibly friendly and accommodating, always willing to help with anything you need. The number of regulars speaks volumes about the quality of this coffee shop, as everyone knows each other by name and it feels more like a social club or family. The coffee and tea selections are vast and delicious, with savory options such as paninis and sweet treats like cakes. You can dine in with social distancing measures in place or opt for takeaway. Additionally, Go Manila! offers a variety of Filipino foods, snacks, and cooking ingredients for sale, some of which can be hard to find in the area. Overall, you can expect excellent coffee, friendly faces, a welcoming atmosphere, and a relaxed experience. I highly recommend this place with a 5-star rating!
If you're seeking a peaceful setting to enjoy a relaxed drink on a sunny day, this is the ideal location. The sunlight pours in through the large windows, creating a warm and bright atmosphere. However, if you're in the mood for a decadent treat, this may not be the best choice as it seems that none of the baked goods are made on the premises. I ordered a scone and noticed it was taken out of a budget packet deal. Even the jam appeared to be of lower quality. My mocha was more like a sweet chocolate drink than a coffee, which may be appealing to some. On the positive side, the restroom was clean and well-maintained, and the prices were reasonable. Additionally, there is plenty to observe and enjoy within the establishment.
This unique coffee shop is decorated with Filipino artifacts and pictures. It is furnished with tables, chairs, and comfortable sofas and armchairs, creating a homely and cozy atmosphere. The food is reasonably priced, and we both enjoyed the delicious brie and bacon panini, generously filled with brie and crispy bacon for only £2.20. The friendly and pleasant service was faultless, and the coffee served in a good-sized mug was excellent. Overall, this coffee shop is worth a visit.
One of the best coffee shops in Ipswich, great staff and first class service. And not sky high prices well worth a visit.
Visiting friends in the area (one whom is Filipino) who introduced me to this place and visited this place twice. Staff are friendly, coffee good and can recommend the Panini's. There are a mixture of tables and comfortable sofas. There are Filipino and South East Asian artefacts from all across Timor, Indonesia etc. The ornaments and decor make for an unusual experience. I would choose this place Sunday over a chain brand coffee shop.
