Mandarin - Ipswich

We ordered takeout and were given a collection time of 30 to 45 minutes. When we arrived, we were greeted with a smile, and our order was ready for us. Once we got home, everything we ordered was included, along with some complimentary spring rolls. The meal was excellent, just like our previous experiences. The crispy fried pork was amazing, just like the Singapore noodles. This is definitely our favorite Chinese restaurant!

I appreciate that the food quality here is good and consistent, which is a refreshing change compared to other places I've tried that didn't measure up. I prefer eating from foil containers rather than those sweaty plastic pots. They also offer ordering through Just Eat, which is very convenient. I've heard negative reviews regarding their service, but I have only experienced efficient "direct" service during my visits, with minimal waiting time. I'd much prefer this quick service over a long, drawn-out wait. I'm now a regular customer, and instead of settling for mediocre local options, I’d rather drive 20 minutes for a satisfying meal here.

I've ordered from this restaurant a few times, and while I’m not usually a fan of Chinese takeout, I have to say that Mandarin delivers. I really enjoy their chow mein and garlic chicken. The chicken balls have a nice balance of chicken to batter, but we’ve noticed that the rice can be a bit dry at times. Recently, delivery has been slower than it used to be, but I think this is due to the road construction on the circular road where they’re located.
