Nacton Road Fish - Ipswich

I visited on a Tuesday and was pleasantly surprised by the busy atmosphere. This restaurant is probably the best fish and chips spot I've ever been to. The portions were generous for the price and the fish was not greasy. The chips were perfectly cooked - not soggy or too crispy. You can choose any sauce you want from the menu to accompany your meal. The staff were friendly and I was very impressed by my spontaneous takeout experience. I will definitely be coming back.

I don't often eat fish and chips, but when I do, I always choose this restaurant. The portion sizes are large and the fish is delicious. The prices are reasonable considering the current inflation of costs.

Half chicken was cremated, fish was ok, chips cold,would not use again i would have been embarrassed to sent it out, don't get delivery they take the P

I have to say this is one of the best town based fish n chip shops I’ve used, sometimes you have to wait a little while for your order but that’s the price you pay for using a popular shop that delivers quality food and Covid hasn’t helped, they do their best in the changing times and as a small business deserve all the help they can get, my new slogan “eat local to stay local” we need to support our small local business. superb value for money when you look at the prices of some of the other large franchises are charging.
