Kickin' Caribou Pub - Iqaluit

I had a late dinner at the Kickin' Caribou Pub and was pleasantly surprised to find that they had wings available at night. I decided to order them with sweet Thai chili sauce and they were delicious! The wings were baked instead of deep fried and had a flavor similar to a whole roasted chicken. The sauce was also fantastic. I would definitely come back for more! My server, Jacklyn, was kind and attentive. Throughout the evening, there were vendors who visited the tables every 15 minutes selling earrings, fur mittens, art, carvings, and more. The next night, I returned for another late dinner at the Kickin' Caribou Pub. It was quieter than the previous night and I tried the ultimate beef dish...

$7 for a beer. Need I say more? Nothing on tap period. Atmosphere is not so good. I understand why the staff have to be there but I don't have to. I won't be going to this watering hole again.

They serve canned beer, wine and liquors. You can expect a jazz singer or a small troop on Friday and/or Saturday night.

Bar has a menu to match restaurant for the most part. Open regular bar hours, fortunately closing at 11 each night. TV's for sports crowd including hockey fans this time of year.

Lots of atmosphere, local artists come in to sell their artworks. Waitress was very efficient and smiley!
