This place was amazing! Definitely the cheapest place we ate in Iquitos, but definitely the best! I paid 11 sol for a little burrito, but it just filled me up. My friend had the big and paid 16 Sol and “estaba delicioso”! You have to go. The employees were really cheerful and did not seem about our limited Spanish: .
Great Price Great Menu Selection Great Service If you are looking for an affordable but hefty size meal, do not look further than Taquito Feroz. Everything we ordered was so delicious, and her food is packings meets Burritos a perfect game
Really good burritos at a decent price and generous portions. The service is good and the place is clean. I had the mixto, I thought it was a bit salty for my taste but my partner loved it. I had also a bite of the regional and it was really good. Definitely going back.
I 'm an American who has been living in Iquitos for four months. I 'm not crazy about the food options here. I don 't have a huge budget and so have explored every cheap option in town, as well splurging occasionally at the various westernized joints near the plaza the two pizza places, Karma Cafe, Yellow Rose, Dawn on The Amazon . The food at the tourist places is decent but has little personality although I can 't deny the scrumptiousness of the wood oven pizza, but can 't afford it often. I am happy to report to have found an amazing new ish restaurant that, in my humble opinion, has the best food in town, and cheap too! It 's called Taquito Feroz at Moore 128 at Napo/Putumayo . This is only five blocks from the Plaza near the University , but off the tiny tourist loop enough that most gringos miss it. They serve MEXICAN FOOD and vegetarian food , and it 's some of the best I 've ever sampled. You can get a large meat, chicken, or vegetarian burrito for under 10 soles $4 , and it 's served generously with five separate dishes !!! of unique salsas, unidentifiable but undeniably delicious sauces, and guacamole, which, all piled on, make for a most tasty full meal burrito. Their fruit juices with treated water are served in huge glasses very large portions for only 3 soles a bit over a buck . They also serve tacos, enchiladas, quesadillas, hamburgers, and sandwiches. The place is run by a very cool, friendly, young, artistic Peruvian couple who just had their first baby. They obviously are passionate about the food, have done their homework, and know what tastes good. I 've traveled much around Peru, Columbia, and Ecuador and found it actually quite difficult to find any real Mexican food. Sometimes you can get a taco or burrito by definition, but it has none of the charm or distinction of real Mexican food. Taquito Feroz is small, quaint, clean, and features glass tables which seal in a view of various art objects underneath the glass. There are some old records LPs hanging on the wall, plus a flat screen TV on the wall but, unlike many food places here, it is usually set to silent . I 've never written a restaurant review online before, but every time I eat there at least twice a week , I think, I need to spread the word about this place . Also, I should add, they even deliver!
