Trattoria Buon Gusto - Ireton

The food was delicious. My only issue was that our group of eight was served at different times, which meant that the first ones finished their meals before the last ones received theirs. However, it was definitely worth the wait!

The food here is outstanding. They prepare their own Sangria, and both the red and white varieties are fantastic. For appetizers, we highly recommend the roasted vegetables with balsamic glaze and the Italian sausage served with potatoes and porcini mushrooms; both are delightful. All three entrees we tried were excellent: the spaghetti and meatballs, crab ravioli, and a special pasta dish with zucchini in a white wine sauce (I can’t recall the exact name, but it was one of the specials that night). For dessert, the cannolis, cheesecakes, and lemon cakes are all superb. Highly recommended!

This is one of the best restaurants I've ever dined at! It was definitely worth the drive. The waitstaff were fantastic, and the owner even came over to check on us. The prices were very affordable, and the atmosphere was wonderful. Wow!

We came and sat, had a reservation. After waiting for 10 minutes, I had to run a server. She pretended she didn't know what was going on. Whoever had our table never came. So she immediately took our order. We waited 45 before the food came. When we asked the server how much longer, she said she would check. She never came back to tell us. After we got our food and started eating, she never came by to check us out. We had to fly them up to get the check. Not sure if it was the server, the kitchen or underused. The quality of the food was good. The salmon was excellent.

Our food took forever and when I say that we were there by 5:20 and got our meal around 7:30. We asked 2 different servers for another drink and did not get one until our meal finally came. We had 3 adult meals and 2 childrens dishes that were terribly salty and made it unbearable to eat. We will never come back and I strongly advise anyone that the closest you may get to true Italian is to go south to Sioux City , very very disappointed as we had heard good things about this restaurant .
