Old Cafe, - Irkutsk

We recommend this restaurant, provided that you are not in a hurry. The atmosphere is divine the decor is beautiful The service is friendly and yet slow. Food is perhaps the best we had in Russia. We ordered red wine and brought white wine, but it was very good. We ordered what we thought was a hearty dish and they brought a pear cake with ice, which was wonderful. In short, we hope you have so much fun here as we do. Please leave your expectations to the door.

Beautiful interior. Prices are on the high end for Russia, but not exorbitant. Many fish endemic to Lake Baikal are served here, especially omul. I had the smoked deer with apple and cranberry sauce and would recommend it.
