This place is so delicious! My husband said the Alcapurrias rivaled his grandmother's! Everything was on point. If you're looking for authentic Puerto Rican food, this place is IT. EDIT I am heart broken to hear they closed!!! ?????

Stopped through while visiting and 10/10 experience!! My first time having PR food and the woman who took my order was so helpful, patient, and sweet! Food did not take long and it was FIRE (punt intended)!! Highly recommend and will definitely be back if I'm ever in town!

Went for the first time, after it was highly recommended, and was disappointed. My food was rather bland and either the dough was bad or freezer burned on the empanada because it was inedible. I was just let down because it was recommended. I have no desire to return after my experience. Maybe my party and I just ordered the wrong dishes but it was a let down for sure. I expect flavor when I'm eating Puerto Rican food but there just wasn't any to be had when i went. Again could have been an off night but the empanada alone would keep me from going back. It was definitely freezer burned or bad in some kind of way but i would guess freezer burned since thay has a very distinct flavor that stands out like a sore thumb. I wish them luck and would have scored them lower but its a small business and don't want to give them lower than 3 stars.

OMG, this was some real, real, real PR food. Chuleta can-can (tomahawk pork chop) was excellent, and the rice had the real Puerto Rico flavor. Sorry that I'm from out of town and won't be back for a while. This by far exceeded my expectations. Yummelicious!!!

This place was wonderful! I felt like I was back at my abuela's house with the smells and music. Several Hispanic patrons clued me in that I was getting authentic food, and I wasn't disappointed! The empanadas (pastelios) were just like hers! The Chin-chin box pork(pernil) was so tender and delicious along with the arroz con gandules(flavorful mid grain rice with pigeon peas) Yum, yum, can't wait to go back! Prices were decent, too. There were several made to order options of authentic Puerto Rican dishes along with some yummy Venezuelan options! If you love this food, you must try this place!
