Twink's 220 Diner - Iron Gate

Quaint restaurant with homey atmosphere. If you're in a hurry, it may not be the best choice as it took 40 minutes for our burgers and fries to arrive. But the food quality was good and the owner was friendly. Given the other positive reviews, perhaps we hit it on an off night.

Stumbled across this diner on our way home from the beach. Excellent service and delicious appetizers, large portion entrees and some of the nicest employees in Virginia! They were also making apple butter outside available for sale, what a treat! Love the small town, old-school diner feel and they made us feel so welcome. Highly recommend the tater barrels loaded with absolutely everything and the chicken wrap was scrumptious ????

Best luau Burger I?ve ever had I hate fully cooked Meat and the owner accidentally over cooked mine because my dad asked for his to be cooked thru. But not worries she was the first person to make me a well done Burger that tasted so good I almost ordered one to go. If you have the time to stop you won't be disappointed kind service and a real mom and pop feel

Other than not getting my roll (I know petty Betty but I was looking forward to it just leaving doctors office from having a procedure)with my hamburger steak meal, all was good the gravy was SO delicious.def coming back soon also glad we came when we did and my dad helped out as he did ! 5 stars indeed Price per person: $1–10

My husband I had dinner at this establishment last night. While the building is older, the food could not have been better. It wasn’t very busy so the server was very attentive. I would DEFINITELY recommend stopping and enjoy some good cheeseburgers fries.! Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner
