Carlos Cantina - Iron Mountain

A casual family oriented Authentic Mexican dinner. Ordered one chicken and one beef enchilada. Very fresh. The NOT to miss was the fried ice cream. Done with a scoop of vanilla, coated with a corn flake cinnamon batter that is quickly deep fried. How do they keep it from melting? A true mystery. Delicious mystery.

My favorite place to take my family for food in Iron Mountain! A great staff works here, that's always attentive, and kind. The food is delicious, and there are a lot of vegetarian and vegan options. I ask for a lot of dishes without cheese and sour cream to make them plant-based, and it tastes amazing still. The interior is gorgeous, and there is a really cool upstairs seating area. You can't go wrong here!

Full time RVer here. We happened on Carlos Cantina and were blown away. Our server was the best, quick and friendly. The food was fresh and tasty. The menu had a lot to offer too. Hubby got a combination. I got the shrimp fajita and there was 12 BBQ shrimp perfectly cooked. Lots of veggies too, not just onions and peppers. Great place for Mexican food.

Tacos were simple but delicious. My friend barely took a breath between his first and last bite of his enchilada. Fries were good, too! Staff was professional and courteous. Affordable prices. Great decor. Can't wait to dine here again!!!!

Great meal and awesome waitress. Will definitely go back when in the area.
