This shop is INSIDE the Zion market! Great pastries!!
They now have taiyaki, dipping dots, and kokonut in addition to their walnut pastries. This store is located at the very back of Zion market and are known for their delicious walnut pastries. A bag of 10 pieces is $7. We saw they had a fridge of kokonut coconut pudding for $10.99 each and a freezer for dipping dots. We came for the walnut pastries but saw they have taiyaki now too. We opted to try their taiyaki the pastries that's shaped like a fish and you can choose taro, red bean, custard, nutella or cheese for the filling. Their taiyakis are crunchy on the outside, soft and hot on the inside and has a mochi like texture when you bite into it. Just perfect. I used to go to somi somi when I crave taiyaki but this place is even better. And they have a cute cake box made especially for these taiyakis so that they stay crispy. They were 5 for $9.99. My new go to spot for taiyaki! Big parking lot in this plaza.
Newbie to Cocohodo and I really like it. I usually get some from somisomi, but I wanted to try it from this place. It's inside the Zion Market in the back which is convenient if your shopping around. I got two of the custard ones and they were sooooooo creamy and soft. I love that they make them fresh.
Love these little Korean gems! Bought them for my parents for Harvest Moon and they tasted as good as they looked! The individual wrapping and box presentation makes them look elegant and expensive. Perfect for gift giving! The taiyaki was delicious best when still warm. I also got the pretty rice cakes. The woman serving me was so kind. A little hard to find just head to the very back of the Zion market!
