This was a very fun and enjoyable experience! The staff at the desk were very nice and the lanes were clean. I had a great time here!
We attended a kids birthday party here recently and had a great time. The bowling alley was very nice and clean. As soon as we finished, workers quickly started working on cleaning and disinfecting the area. They were well staffed and we're always quick to respond when a bowling ball would end up where it wasn't supposed to be. There were two other parties going on at the same time and it never felt over crowded. Appears to be an easy and fun option for a kids birthday party. My 8 5 year old both had a lot of fun and there were plenty of lightweight balls for the kiddos. The kids' shoes were also in good condition. Loved that you can select whether or not to have bumpers for each individual player. We just wish it was closer to where we live!
There are plenty of parking spaces. I had a group of 4 people playing, and it was $18 per person (including shoe rentals) for one hour. You can make reservations or walk in. We just walked in. We didn't realize the hour was going to be speeding by, so we were able to play almost 2 games within an hour. Once you get your shoes, your clock starts, so don't waste too much time looking for bowling balls...which was what we did. We didn't realize we spent basically 15 minutes looking for bowling balls and just taking our time. I do wish they told us when our timer starts once we got our shoes. Service: 4/5 Tip(s): $18 per person for an hour Accepts Apple Pay Game starts once you have your bowling shoes use your time wisely We were able to play almost 2 games within one hour
Came here on a Friday night. We were happy to find we could make reservations over the phone. We rented 2 lanes for our family of 10. They had a computer system where we were able to control the bumpers for the little ones. Which made it enjoyable for everyone that played. We had a great time here with our family. The food was decent. We had ordered a couple of pizzas and appetizers as well as a few pitchers of beer. The employees were all helpful and friendly. Yet, the bartender seemed a little over worked and might have needed a bar back. Nonetheless she was a great bartender. To finish our night off as we left they had a small arcade for the kids that had different variations of the claw game. All n all it was a great family night at the bowling alley.
Irvine Lanes was a fun choice for a corporate team building event. It was easy to make a same week reservation by phone. They collect a $50 deposit in advance, but it goes towards the total cost of the reservation, so you pay the remaining balance the day of. Shoes were $6/ pair. They'll hold your reservation for 15 minutes. If you show up after that grace period, there's no guarantee they'll be able to accommodate you. The lanes are pretty standard nothing fancy. They had plenty of bowling balls in varying weights for everyone who showed up at 4pm on a Thursday. I'd say the place was about 70% full by the time we left. The console was easy enough to work. We appreciated the option to shuffle through the various screens to compare our team members's stats. Irvine Lanes also has a concessions stand with your typical arcade fare nachos, cheese sticks, sodas, beer, etc. It seemed weird to eat with the same hands I was bowling with, so I passed on the snacks. They also had an arcade (if I remember correctly) and ample parking out front.
