Island Restaurants Regional Office

Food is pretty decent (nothing special) and drinks are great! The service is amazing and everyone is very friendly and helpful from the moment you walk in to the moment you leave. Great environment for Football as they have happy hour deals that are hard to beat! Monday-Thursday till close and all day on Sunday! Will definitely be coming back

Asked for a medium cooked burger and it was completely raw. Table next to us sent theirs back too. Service was nice and got us a new one. Still bland and underwhelming for the price. Tortilla soup is bomb though.

If I could describe my experience in one word it would be GROSS!! From the moment you walked into this establishment the stench of sewer and mildew a thick sticky stench of filth and grease, you can actually feel the grease in the air. We were seated in a bench that felt both Sticky and Sandy with crumbs left on the booth. Our waitress named Teresa had long hair and a rude bitchy attitude, we felt rushed and awkward we couldn't even place our order with out a remark about how she described the item would taste as if she was grossed out herself. When our food arrived it had a long hair in it! We were not surprised! We had to flag down for Our drinks to get refilled and at the end Teresa shows up with our bill. What a deplorable place hopefully it gets shut down to make way for decent restaurant.

All of the islands in my area have closed down, so we decided to cruise it on down to Carlsbad to have a trip down memory lane. Unfortunately, it's a trip I would have rather not taken. First of all, Islands serves burgers, tacos, and alcohol. Why are there no napkins anywhere?? The only way to get them is by getting up to ask, L. At this particular location, the service is not that great. We saw our waitress once and she never came back to check on us. It took way to long to get the bill too so we could leave. I also regret to inform y'all that the burger looked great, don't get me wrong! It was picture perfect. It just wasn't that bussin' if I'm being honest. Especially if I'm paying $17 for one. It just wasn't really worth it tbh.

Today we visited this restaurant for the first time. I will not be back. I was taking my kids back to school shopping and we needed to fuel up. We were there when they opened. The first in the door. We were seated and could see a waitress down the aisle chatting it up with a coworker. (she could clearly see we were seated) Turns out, she was our waitress, she didn't greet us for at least 10 mins. The kids liked their food. My salad, however, had a black HAIR in it. I found it halfway through eating. I let the Manager know, and she assured me the kitchen crew wore hair nets, but didn't apologize or make an effort to make things right. Their customer service is severely lacking, Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.
