Oishi Shabu Shabu - Irvine

The rudest encounter ever. When we came back for dinner after a couple days he was defensive and stated we yelled at the waiter. FYI, the wagyu smelled bad and we mentioned it as a courtesy. Instead of apologizing to us, he said “ I trust my waiter more”. Not professional at all.

We had a reservation for 8 including children, the staff were friendly and amazingly accommodating making sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. It was my first time here and I LOVED it, so many choices for meat, seafood and vegetables. Definitely a new favorite ??

Pretty average unlimited hot pot/shabu shabu spot. Unlimited meat the chuck eye roll was our favorite. The miso soup base is definitely a good option. The vegetables were pretty fresh. Service is good, but a little slow.
