Philly's Best - Irvine

I believe that was their original location, and I've been making the drive there since the early nineties. As a Philly local, I always enjoy my healthy fix of cheesesteaks! I travel internationally, but Philly's best has always been at the top of my list for a delicious meal, and it brings back so much nostalgia.

Her cheesesteak sandwich with mushrooms is delicious. this place is definitiw the high school hangout and brought back memories of the music they played at the beginning of the 2000s. the young behind the theke were quick and efficient in view of the midday rush. to come back soon.

Absolutely delicious! I had the Philly with mushrooms and paprika, and it had the perfect amount of meat and fillings. Every bite was packed with distinct flavors. I only wish I could have added some extra cheese!

The cheese sauce clings to the fries, helping the other toppings stick for a delicious bite every time. I adore their cheesesteaks, but I think I love the cheesesteak fries even more! Rating: 5/5 The pizza fries are French fries topped with pizza sauce and cheese sauce. While I enjoy cheese sauce on fries, I think a blend of pizza sauce with mozzarella or provolone would elevate the dish even more. The creaminess of the cheese would complement the sweetness of the pizza sauce and align better with the Italian flavor profile. They're a smaller portion compared to the cheesesteak fries and work well as a side to a cheesesteak or hoagie. Rating: 4.5/5

The cheese steaks are absolutely amazing. I only gave it 3 stars because while we were there I watched the guy on the front counter leave the cash register and go directly to placing his hands inside the onion ring bag to cook our onion rings without even attempting to wash them.
