Pot roast and egg meal: the pot roast was very good, tender; the eggs were done correctly (broken yolk, over medium) sourdough toast was tasteless, like no flavor to the butter, the edges were burned black. I like light toast. The home fries were more like cubes and seemed lightly deep fried. All surfaces equally and evenly browned. 1 or 2 onion bits. I like nice crispy sliced potatoes and onions fried in either butter or oil. I asked if the homemade pies were made in house. No. But they bake them there. C 'mon. That 's factory made, restaurant baked. Service was good. Consistent coffee refills. Roomy place, seats many.
Food is high quality at a fair price and service is excellent! Very comfortable atmosphere.
We thought here was a quick breakfast at Kenmore Farmer's Market. There was no waiting, we were served fast, and the food was delicious. The staff was so friendly!!! The prices were also great. I can't wait to return here.
Not happy. Service was okay, but definitely noticed the difference between how we were treated and how the regular were treated. We had to ask for water while the other girls had brought water to their table as soon as they sit. The food was lukewarm when it came to the table. Everything was ordered, should have been hot. The kicker was the fact that the waitress increased the price on all small items. Eggs $1.50, charged $3.95, side of the bacon was over $3, we were charged almost $6. I could go on. Not that money was a problem, but our bill $61 for corn beef hashash with what looked like old onions, 2 eggs, short stack French toast, 1 cup of coffee, 1 apple juice, 2 Belgian waffles and an omelet.
