Super Mex - Irvine

The servers were fantastic! We enjoyed the shredded beef tacos, guacamole, enchiladas, and taquitos—everything was incredibly delicious! You feel warmly welcomed at Ysidro, with wonderful food and excellent service!

The service was polite, and the food was decent. I tried the Taquitos and Enchiladas, which I found to be better than the ones at Wahoo's, and I also enjoyed the rice and beans at Miguel's Jr. However, the frozen margarita at Super Mex was quite disappointing. Overall, it's not terrible, but I don't think it's worth the price, which is why I gave it three stars. The value doesn't match the quality.

The restaurant offers delicious local Mexican cuisine at good quality and affordable prices. There's a spacious outdoor dining area, which is great for families and comfortable during COVID. The servers are all friendly and welcoming. I enjoyed two dishes—a fish taco and a chicken enchilada—for only $15. What a fantastic deal!

We have been here 3 times in the last week. That is how good it is. Extremely authentic food, great pricing and great service. So far we have had nothing bad here!

I've been going to Super Mex for years and it is still one of my favorite places to go for authentic Mexican food. It is not one of those fancy boutique type restaurants and they serve up quality food at good prices. If you order one of their meals, you will not leave hungry. Meals always start with an endless supply of crispy fried corn tortillas and the perfect blend of salsa. Be careful because its so addicting that you can easily fill up before your meal is served. This is the perfect time to enjoy your favorite drink. The favorites here, are just about any burrito on the menu. I've tried most of them and they are all good. The Super Mex Burrito is especially good, and comes with your choice of meat. It is a very big burrito and about half of it usually comes home with me in a box. The combination plates are great if you want to try a mix of entrees. I love the enchiladas and crispy tacos. Service at Super Mex is typically great and the staff is nice and personable.
