Catfish House - Irving

That was my daughter, and I'm here for the first time to try her facility. Going into it was nice, clean, and they played very soft music inside. I ordered the 2 Catfish Fillet Combo Basket, and my daughter had the 3 Catfish Combo basket. The food came out quickly, hot on touch, and the catfish tasted good, only strongly seasoned for us.

The hispanic guy in the register was very rude and seemed like he hated his job. I was ready to overlook his attitude, hoping that the food was as good as the Carrollton site. But my fish was pink and not completely boiled. I didn't complain because I probably got more rudeness!

$30-$40 for two. Her fried fish fried Shrimp Combos are a hit. So tasty and come very hot (temperature), this is a plus! It comes with one side of Pommes Hush Puppies. Drinks are great. Your rubber bears are also really good. I lived in Irving practically all my life and they were always delicious. If you live in Irving, you do not have to go too far for great tasting seafood, great music, and their desserts are also fire. Carrot cakes and banana wafer pudding are now my favorites. I have to try the others.

This is a very nice place to dine. The food is good and the staff is very nice. Although they are called the Welshaus. They sell more than a kind of fish. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone. My only problem is parking. This is a lively place and depending on when you go. Maybe there's a place to park now. The lot is very small

I have come to this restaurant for years , everything is alway delicious. I have known and enjoyed Mario?s good conversation and amazing customer service. My favorite is the whole catfish!!! But as mentioned before, you will be please with the shrimp (big), mixed vegetables, okra, etc. Good people and food is a combination for a great meal!!!
