Sheraton Dfw Airport - Irving

First stay at the Sheraton DFW for a 3 day business trip. Rooms are ok and a bit dated. However staff at the hotel was helpful, especially Harriet from the Club Lounge who provided outstanding service for food, snacks and beverages. Overall the hotel is close to DFW and has okay rooms for 1 2 people. The hotel needs a bit of updating on the exterior as wellRooms: Rooms are normal size with the right amount of functional furniture.

Stayed here two nights for a boyfriend's dance competition; the room was a room and the location was decent, I left my brown work boots and my necklace in the room and either a member of their staff threw these out or they kept them! Neither ended up in the lost-and-found and I drove there for my stay, so there is no chance that I lost them in transit. I've already discussed this with their front desk so at this point I have no other options. ?‍ ?‍ ?‍

Checkin was quick, not super friendly. The hotel is dated, plug-ins fall out of the sockets, shower is made for someone under 5’11 (I’m 6’3), stepped on a cockroach in the restaurant when I went down for dinner. The food was extremely meh.The location is great but there were flights right outside my window (literally right there).The gym was fantastic, which is why I chose the hotel.Checkout was friendly enough. The shuttle was a really issue, absolutely jammed, obviously the terminals are difficult to get to; however, I wish I would have taxi’d as I was unnecessarily rushed for my flight. Oh, and the driver asked for a tip after it took 30+ minutes to get to my terminal.I’ve received four of the same email (dinner receipt) and have yet to receive my hotel receipt as requested ??‍

I typically have no issues with the Sheraton this was my first time staying at this one and as. Marriott member I expected more. There were blood stains in the sheets and luckily we only need the room for the night. I had the hardest time reporting this to Sheraton as there was no call back when I called to report this.
