Whataburger - Irving

What a fantastic place! I wouldn't categorize it as fast food, even though everything we ordered came out quickly. The drinks are large, the burgers are massive, the milkshakes are creamy, and the fries are delicious! Overall, it's an excellent stop. The service is friendly, and the restaurant is clean.

Having worked at DFW Airport for quite some time, I can confidently say that this restaurant consistently delivers excellent food and service. Whether it's for lunch meetings or my own meals, I have never had a bad experience here in the eight years I've been coming. Save your money and skip the Whataburger inside the airport—just come here instead. I guarantee you won't be disappointed!

I want to give a huge shout-out to this restaurant! I'm from Illinois and was visiting my sister in California when my flight home had a layover in Dallas. Unfortunately, my flight was canceled due to bad weather. After a hectic night trying to sort things out, I ended up at the Quality Inn Suites across from Whataburger around 11 PM. Naturally, I got hungry around 1 AM and placed a pickup order. When I arrived, I realized I had sent the order to the wrong location, and I almost felt like crying! But the lovely ladies working there went out of their way to prepare my order anyway. I can't thank them enough for not adding to my chaotic night. I will definitely come back if I'm ever in the area!

Not worth the hassle. I've been coming here begrudgingly for about a year because it's the closest option, but they always mess something up. Tonight, I ordered an avocado bacon burger with no onions, and instead received a burger with just meat, cheese, sauce, and onions! The ticket clearly stated no onions, but didn’t mention anything about the avocado, bacon, or tomato that are supposed to come with it. I paid $10 for that meal, and that was the burger I got? That's a total rip-off. Plus, this place often has terrible wait times. I recommend driving a bit further down 183 to find a decent Whataburger instead.

This restaurant has really declined. It used to have the best burgers. The night crew is fantastic, but the weekend morning service is a different story. I tried it twice to be sure, and both times the patties and fries were cold. Plus, the service was ridiculous—I waited 15 minutes with no line at all!
