Cenacolo - IRWIN

The Italian food I had at this restaurant was absolutely incredible—hands down some of the best I've ever experienced!

This restaurant had potential, with good prices and a nice atmosphere in California, and I truly enjoyed the food. However, my experience was tarnished by the staff's poor attitude. They made several mistakes while serving us and behaved very poorly. Because of this, I won't be returning, and I would not recommend it to others. I will definitely share my thoughts with friends and family.

This weekend, we finally visited a restaurant I've been eager to try for a long time: Cenacolo. Located in North Huntingdon, it took us a while to get there due to the distance. Without traffic, it’s about a one-hour drive from our home, and it involves navigating the Parkway East, which I always find to be a traffic nightmare. It seems that there’s constantly some dreadful traffic incident causing delays at the tunnels on the inbound and outbound Parkway East. While the Fort Pitt Tunnels on the Parkway West can be frustrating, we have several alternate routes to avoid them. The Parkway North seems manageable, but the Parkway East? Traveling from Robinson to areas beyond Monroeville sends chills down our spines.

This restaurant is outstanding. The staff is very well-informed about the cuisine as well as the wine and cocktails. From the olive appetizer to the main course, everything was exceptional. I will definitely be returning soon.

Cenacolo Restaurant is the best Italian restaurant I've ever visited, and it easily ranks among my top five, possibly even in the top three.
