When we arrived for our reservation, we discovered that the restaurant does not have a computer system, does not honor OpenTable reservations, and is actually closed.
I found Peking Duck listed at $58 on Opentable, but when I got to the restaurant, it was $68. This was quite frustrating. The duck skin also didn't have the crispiness I expected for that price. Additionally, we were charged a 20% service tip, but the service was more in line with a low-end Chinese restaurant; you really had to flag down the staff to get any attention.
Steamed dumpling was delicious. It was not doughy and had the right amount of meat in it. We had ordered a clear noodle vermicelli with ground meat. It was tasty but not wowed by it. It didn 't have the presentation and color to it. The filet of flounder with bokchoy was delicious and was worth ordering. I would recommend this place to my friends and would come back.
I had an early reservation at 5:30 p.m. the restaurant is in a hotel and quite spacious but it appeared I was the only guest at that time. No one was at the host stand and after about a minute someone did come up but they did not have my reservation from OpenTable. Later continue to see me and provided a menu. The menu looked good but there was no descriptions of any of the items, just names. I went with Singapore mie fun extra spicy and sticky rice balls. The rice balls were good. The Singapore mie fun was a bit Bland. For spiciness they provided Tabasco sauce. I did not realize that was a Chinese spice: overall I would not recommend it as it was just okay for the price
