Funny part is we were there 2 hrs from 12pmto 2 pm and I saw there was chicken biryani tag but when we left till that time it was not available.Ambience is good but they need more active and hard worker .Not who hardly work.
We went with another family including kids and really enjoyed it. Their lavender martini is fantastic. The kids enjoyed their mocktails that the restaurant offered. Clove 12 is spot on when it comes to flavors and spices (if you can't handle the spice, make sure to tell them mild upfront because everything has a slight kick). The mixed tandoori platter was fantastic. The chicken was perfectly cooked. The tandoori lamb chops were also amazing. Next time we will order two of them, they were so good. The veggie and chicken tacos were delicious. We got the chicken tikka masala, malai kofta, butter chicken which were all really good. I also really recommend the pepper shrimp. It is very spicy because it's made with different types of peppers. We ordered it mild but it still was spicy for the kids, but great for the adults. The service was really good. Some of the food took a little long. However, considering it was Friday night and completely packed, they did a great job and were very attentive.
I had previously dined at this establishment and had a delightful experience ordering from their regular menu. However, during our most recent visit, we decided to try the buffet for the first time, and unfortunately, it left much to be desired. Upon arrival, we noticed that some of the food trays were empty, and the dishes that were available didn't appear to be as fresh as we had hoped. The taste just wasn't there. The food felt more like it came out of a microwave and meat tasted very rubbery. As time passed, the buffet was eventually restocked, but the quality of the items was inconsistent; some were quite enjoyable, while others were a disappointment. What compounded our experience was a sense of being rushed while partaking in the buffet. It felt as though there was a certain time constraint, making us somewhat uncomfortable. In summary, while I had previously enjoyed the menu options at this establishment, the buffet experience fell short of our expectations due to issues with food freshness, inconsistent offerings, and a feeling of haste during our meal.
The restaurant has the location foot traffic to offer a quality experience but unfortunately falls short on many fronts interior needs more lighting, ventilation (although most indian joints have this issue but the “restobar” branding would make you believe otherwise), food quality was average (butter chicken roti were good but rest of the items like malai kabab, veg kabab, chicken seekh, gobi manchurian were either salty, soggy or lacking flavor). Overall the experience doesn't justify the pricing.
It's embarrassing that the wait staff have to ask for cash tip because owner won't pay them if we put it on the credit card check payment. Staff was great but would never go back if the ownership steals from their employees. Extremely poor leadership they should be shut down
