Caffe Letterario Eden - ISEO

We've waited for 30 minutes just for someone to take our order, when the place was almost empty. The food arrived also after a long time, although they told us it's just a pizza and it'll take just 5 minutes. The service was really terrible, kept ignoring us. Stay away!

I bought some nice Italian greetings cards here, as well as some magazines. I enjoyed an espresso, while reading one of the many Italian newspapers left out for customers to look at. They also had gluten free biscuits for sale on the counter. New books are quite expensive in Italy but it’s always nice to browse.

Three of us stopped in the square to have a drink and a bite to eat in the afternoon. We were promptly attended to by the staff. The price of drinks and pizza is about average for a place like this in its location. The square is quite pleasant, not too busy but not too quiet either. The food was good and the real surprise at the end was that it was also a book shop!

The pizza vegana is very good. Sourdough and lots of veggies! Nice to sit outside on a little square.
