Cacao Chocolate - Isipingo

Very bad service, tasteless food, no abundance in portion size. Would not frequent again! Waste of my money.

This places has been around for ages. The brownies are amazing. Situated on the eastern end of the gateway shopping mall. A nice selection off delicious treats. Staff are always on the ball and the food is always fresh and tasty. A real delight.

This place has been a favourite of mine since it first opened, however, it has deteriorated substantially over the years. I’m not sure if it’s under new management, but the quality of the food and the service has taken a dive. The person manning the phones is appalling. I called to ask a simple question and the interaction was overtly hostile and rude. It pains me to say that this was the last straw of an endless line of infringements, and I will not be returning to this long-standing favourite.

Unfortunately it has come to this. I have been basically a fan of the chocolate bar since the time I discovered it in 2014. I am extremely disappointed with the service at this place. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the desserts, it is just the service that has been a major put off.
