There are no words to describe how amazing this restaurant is. Very high standards. But from the moment you walk into Joops you are treated with the best service ever from the owners and staff. The food is out of this world. This is the only place in durban that we eat when we fly to south Africa from Uk. We look forward to our dining experience every time we are visiting. And what I love is that even our little girl is made to feel so welcome and her food is always a priority when we place our order. My family and I love this place so much. Thank you for always making us feel so welcome and for such delicious food. Best steak I've ever eaten.

One of the best steak places I've ever been to, great service, wine glass constantly topped up by our friendly waitress, medium rare steak done to absolute perfection. Will definitely be back soon.

I am literally one of those people who can never order food and receive my plate with everything being perfect or as promised advertised by the restaurant....that was at least until I ordered Joop 's Special! Wow! Every little detail of this restaurant is perfect! From the cleanliness of the entire restaurant, kitchen even the toilets, to the friendly and professional 'on the ball ' staff, to Joop who clearly knows what he is doing and lastly the perfectly cooked meal (veggies, salad AND the best piece of fillet that I have ever tasted)! Best service! Best meal! Best atmosphere! Here 's to the saying 'if you want something done, do it yourself '! Well done Joop Now all we need is Joop to move to Lichtenburg!!!!

Exceptional! Service was excellent,steak was superbly done, to the point that conversation ceases and you enjoy the perfection and taste.The cherry on the top, the beer was ice cold and Irish Coffee brilliant. If you want to spoil yourself, pay this establishment a visit, we will definitely return!

Awesome evening as we were celebrating a 1 month wedding anniversary with wifey. The place is well dressed and presented. The staff at the venue very welcoming and they give you your space ie. don't hog you every minute asking if the food is alright. A night well spent. Thank you for the Hospitality.
