I have always viewed Sprigs as a great spot for delicious, different food. My husband went recently and was disappointed at the quality of the breakfast. Nothing wrong per se, just nothing special overpriced. I went with a friend recently and ordered the chicken pie with curry gravy. The curry gravy was very bland — I didn't eat it at all. We enjoyed a really lovely lunch. Good food, pleasant surroundings and pleasant service. Sprigs remains a favorite food spot.

My husband and I had the chicken pie, curry gravy and wedges. I have to say unfortunately it was the worse meal I have every experienced. The curry gravy made from 7 veg was actually a mushed up baby food experience with no curry flavour. We live in Durban forgoodness sake. The pie was okay but had little flavor.
