Acantilado - Isla Mujeres

We have been here a few times before years ago and it was a very nice place. This time our waiter could care less about us. He never came back after delivering our food, which took a long time. My wife had guacamole but he never brought her chips. I tracked him down twice and he never brought her any chips. I went up to the person at the cash register and asked her for chips. Nothing happened again. My son, his wife and I were done eating and my wife still had no chips. I walked to the cash register area again and told her that I would stand at the food window with the servers until I got chips, finally after 4 attempts, someone handed me chips and my wife finally got to eat. Our server was upset when he didn’t get a big enough tip, I took the high road and gave him more money, but I let him know I had to serve us, because he wouldn’t. We won’t return, does have a great view.

Great view, food was great and paid about 60 dlls for lunch for 4. Worth it! We ordered fish and shrimp tacos along with lemonades and a margarita. Very good.

They are CLOSED. !!! You can still walk around the edge of the cliff. Some shops open but no restaurant and no bathroom . Had previously been there many times and always enjoyed.

Amazing view of the most beautiful spot on the island. Food was sooooooo good! The drinks were amazing! If you go to Punta Sur, plan to have lunch here.

Best view. Food was good. But the view is spectacular. And we had a visitor that ate enjoyed lunch with us.
