Feedback gevenAte here again after 22+ years. Wasnt as great as we remembered it. Menu was pretty small and was disappointed with the flavoring (or lack thereof) of our seafood meals. Poached seafood had zero flavor, grilled shrimp didn’t taste like it was grilled, and scallops were over cooked.
Six of us enjoyed wedge and Caesar salads, shrimp cocktails, crab dip, salmon blt’s, shrimp and grits, fried flounder, blackened halibut, Mac and cheese and collard greens. No one had any complaints. Service was good and the food was served rapidly. Also enjoyed the rooftop bar with amazing views. Highly recommendable!
We waited an hour for our overpriced food. I ordered shrimp and grits, and they served me fish and chips. My daughter order shrimp on her salad and they topped it with overcooked chicken instead. Mussles had no flavor. There are better places to eat!
Very disappointing quality of food at a high price. Especially with the amazing alternative options nearby. We had the fried flounder and the shrimp grits did not enjoy either. We were seated on the covered patio with the blinds down (due to sun at dusk) so couldn’t enjoy the view during dinner. The walk out on the broad walk after dinner was beautiful at sunset and we saw some dolphins. Service was good and fast.
Maybe a night was for the chefs. The Mac and the cheese were DRY. The brussel sprouts were not cooked enough. The hush puppies were room temp and gum. Service was great. Must go BEFORE sunset to get the full experience.
