This is truly a wonderful place , amazing food and even better service. As regulars we are always made to feel welcome by the lovely louise and never feel like anything is too much trouble. Never had a bad meal here and the prices are really good we got married this year and they even did a little congrats in our desert which made us feel really great and the desert was so delicious.

You know what it’s like, you see the board outside that says ‘Steak night at the Coast. Two 10oz sirloin steaks and a bottle of wine for £35, and you think that sounds good. So you go in and sit down at the Formica table and you begin to wonder if you have made a mistake, especially when you see the tiny galvanised bucket with bendy tin forks and sachets ofcondiments. Then the wine arrives, a very acceptable Chilean Merlot, followed by a standard white oval plate with the steak, chips, mushrooms, tomatoes and onion rings. Well, I have never had a tastier or better cooked steak, beautifully pink all the way through, thoroughly seasoned and delicious to the last moist mouthful. Oh, and the waiting staff were friendly and helpful too. I will definitely come back on my next trip to the Island.

We called in for dinner and the place was very quite.opted for the whitebait as a starter,when it arrived it was a Hugh portion but very nice.chose the steak for mains and this was also excellent

Amazing food great service by one woman but rest the look like they were lacking and need to be more enthusiastic about there job role and more knowledgeable but I highly recommend this place, no idea why it only has 3 stars deserves more! Me and my mum are very fussy eaters and we were blown away by the food, steaks and other meats were cooked to perfection, cocktails were amazing and service was up to standards. I really feel that they should ask for trip advisor reviews as we almost turned our backs after seeing it was only 3 star maybe that’s just us but it definitely deserves more stars. I will definitely be coming back.
