The Cod Father - Isle of Wight

We had a wonderful meal at this seaside restaurant. Our dishes were made to order, and it seemed like every dish we saw being served was made fresh as well. We both enjoyed the cod and small chips, which was just the right portion size for lunch (we were satisfied for the whole day!). The fish was perfectly cooked, tasty, and not greasy at all. If we ever find ourselves back in Ryde, we will definitely be coming back to this restaurant!

We ordered fish and chips for delivery tonight and were really impressed. The food was excellent, the prices were reasonable, and the service was fantastic. We will definitely be ordering from here again. Highly recommended.

We enjoyed delicious, freshly cooked chips to-go from this restaurant. The staff was friendly and they also had cold drinks available. We ordered a portion of chips while we waited for the hovercraft back to Portsmouth.

Amazing chips, the best mug of tea, really friendly staff great conversation/banter. Will definitely visit again .

Ordered a portion of chips, walked across the road to the bus station to eat them and they were cold and stale. I wouldn’t recommend, especially with a new chip shop right next door the Cod Father needs to up their game :
