Five Guys - Islington

A great burger joint excellent burgers lush milkshakes friendly helpful staff. Will be back on my brake again soon.

Came here for a quick catch up with my cousin a few days ago. I just wanted to check out the dessert shakes. Ola was the best at making sure we were okay and happy with what we had, he showed he was someone who exceeds expectations! That's what I would definitely expect from an American owned company and he is definitely showing it! The Strawberry Shortcake milkshake was really good, the strawberries tasted so fresh! My daughter had Millionaire Shortbread one, which was nice, bit a bit too rich in taste for me! Thanks Ola!!

If you go to this restaurant, you may never want to eat burgers anywhere else again, unless you happen to come across a Five Guys location nearby. Sadly, there isn't one in Iceland.

We usually order burgers from Shake Shack every week or every two weeks, but this time they made a mistake with our order so we received a refund immediately (thankfully, deliveroo is very helpful in situations like this). As a result, we decided to try Five Guys instead. Personally, I enjoyed the finer, softer ground patty at Five Guys because I have dental issues and some burgers can be difficult to chew. The complimentary toppings were alright but a bit skimpy, and all the flavors seemed to blend together, making it hard to distinguish the jalapeños, grilled mushrooms, and onions. The seeded bun was nice but became a bit soggy during delivery. The fries are excellent if you don't mind the skin, and the small size is more than enough for two people, although the price reflects that. If you prefer plain burgers, the meat flavor at Five Guys may be somewhat lacking compared to Shake Shack. Overall, I would consider going back to Five Guys, but I am still open to exploring other options.

To be honest, Five Guys is a fast food chain that offers good quality food. Customers can customize their burgers and receive a generous portion of fries. Sometimes the portions may be a bit large, but who's complaining? I usually opt for the little cheeseburger as it's a perfect size for me and is quite satisfying. The restaurant is decent, clean, and has seating downstairs, which is a nice touch. I have always had positive experiences here and would definitely recommend it.
