Sekforde Arms - Islington

We had a fantastic day at this restaurant for my son's wedding. The staff did an excellent job and many people approached me to say that it was the best ceremony and venue they had ever been to. The staff worked incredibly hard and the food was outstanding, as were the many different drinks. You all helped make the day truly memorable and we are extremely thankful. Well done again!

My friends and I attended a wedding at the Sekforde Arms on Saturday and it was a fantastic day! The staff worked tirelessly to ensure that everyone was well taken care of. The food was amazing, from the delicious canapes to the beautiful starters and main courses, followed by a variety of desserts and fish and chips cones later in the evening. Despite there being 61 guests in total, the quality of the food was exceptional. To top it off, we had booked an Airb&B nearby, only to realize that it was directly attached to the Sekforde Arms and part of the same business. We didn't even have to go outside as there was a convenient link corridor connecting the pub and function room to our accommodation. It was a fabulous experience! We didn't get a chance to thank the staff for their excellent service on Saturday, so we would like to take this opportunity to express our gratitude for making our special day even more memorable. If we ever return to London, we would not hesitate to stay at the Sekforde Airb&B and enjoy a meal at the pub.

This back street pub is a hidden gem, perfect for grabbing a few drinks quickly. The food is decent, but I've heard rumors that it might be shutting down. It's a shame, as these traditional old pubs are what give London its charm, unlike the trendy ones.

You know it is.Great service, great beer and on the best Street in the village. When you go around and look at the other pubs you know you are in a special area for great food and drinks.The Sekforde has the best kept ales tho.

With friendly,chatty staff and locals. Ideal location for quick bus or (Farrindon)tube hop into West End. From their reasonably priced guest rooms.
