Tito's Sandwich - Islington

We visited this restaurant about two years ago and were left unimpressed. However, it seems like they have made some changes either to their menu or their chef because our recent meal, though small, was very enjoyable. We plan on returning.

I visited Tito last week and the food was absolutely delicious. Compared to other sandwich bars and market stands nearby, the prices at Tito were excellent. Tito is the way to go!

On our final morning in London for our anniversary trip, the hotel was bustling with activity. My friend asked me to run to the bank, so I decided to surprise her with breakfast. We had visited this Peruvian sandwich bar multiple times over the weekend and I was intrigued by the South American-style decor visible through the large glass windows. I ordered a bridal bacon baguette for my friend and a sausage salad for myself. The staff were entertaining, not overly friendly, but seemed to value their customers. Back at the hotel, we dug into our meals. My friend simply described her baguette as one of the best she had ever tasted, and my sausage salad was also delicious, as were the homemade cake slices I ordered. I regretted only discovering this place on our last morning in London and vowed not to make the same mistake on future trips, as their baguette sandwiches were absolutely delightful.
