The meal was a nice break from the ordinary. The seafood risotto was creamy and the shellfish was tasty. I would not recommend the house Merlot. I wasn't interested in paying much for a single glass of wine, so I ordered it without looking at menu. It was awful and I barely finished it.
We've eaten here several times and always felt the food and service were great. We had blackened salmon and chicken piccata this visit it was excellent. Plates came to table hot, yea.... one of our favorite places in Issaquah.... restaurant supports Village Theatre is a plus!
The food was good and the Pogacha bread is delicious, but the service was lackluster. Our server seemed very annoyed to be there...kinda puts a damper on the celebratory event for which we were there: my birthday and my husband's.
As usual, the food selections, quality, and service were excellent. One of my favorite restaurants!
