When we left a restaurant, we saw this monument built in 1130 highlighted by this light at night. The street was quiet, the doors of the church were obviously closed, we went to admire it from all points of view. I share these photos with you in my admirable eyes
To do absolutely and discover the most beautiful Romanesque church in France! The only problem lies in the neighborhood rather poorly crowded, do not leave your company in your car the time of the visit.
12th century building in a state of remarkable freshness. Start with the tower of this geometrical assembly of clear arkosic rocks and dark basaltes. Then the interior reveals a Callinet organ of Rouffach, a crypt with large pillars, and a superb polychromy (modern) creating a warm and intimate atmosphere.
Very nice abbey in the heart of Issoire. Paints in bright colours and stained glass are beautiful. On a small sound of the organ it was a very nice visit! Open until 6:30.
