La Scala - Issy-les-Moulineaux

My first visit since I discovered in April 2019 that the restaurant had re opened under new owners. Happy to say that yesterday I found that the new La Scala was still Friendly and serving good food. The menu has many items I recognise from other Italian themed places and none the worse for that. My lasagne arrived piping hot and bubbling from the oven, and tiramisu in its individual glass. I liked both. Service was good and I recognised one waiter from years back. I will go again on next visit

When I saw in January La Scala boarded up and a note from the owners thanking for many years of custom, I thought the end of an era. But this week a chance stroll by revealed a new, bright, modern restaurant but with the name La Scala. We tried it tonight. Mostly new staff. New printed menus but largely same content. I had the spinach ravioli and the Panna cotta. As good as before. Lively young service. Pretty full for a Tuesday evening. Live again La Scala!

The food is amazing! Authentic italian cuisine served by very friendly staff! The food comes really fast (3-5mins) and everything is delicious. It is affordable and the atmosphere is lovely.

Accueil très très sympa, aux petits soins avec une personne en fauteuil roulant et une autre en lit médicalisé mobile. Plats copieux, qualité correct sans plus ni moins.Attention juste si vous n'aimez pas la chaleur, pas de climatisation. Alors en été, qui plus est avec de fortes chaleurs...Addition dans la moyenne de la banlieue ouest parisienne.Mais une adresse ou il fait bon vivre et où tout le monde est et peut être reçu.
