Genuine Lebanese eating in isanbul and that is the most delicious hummus ever! kind service, they speak English and Turkish. directly in İstiklal avenue, near the metro station şişhane. it was great.
This is hands down the best restaurant in Istanbul. I was there for 10 days and tried a lot of places, but nothing even comes close to this gem. The shawarma here is literally the best and cleanest shawarma I have ever tried in Istanbul. I wish I had discovered this place sooner because I would have eaten here every day. The sandwiches were so delicious that I couldn't even find the time to take a picture of them.
My husband and I had a good experience at this restaurant. We ordered two mixed sandwiches and a lentil soup for lunch. The falafel and vegan food were tasty, but I wish the wraps were toasted and the lentil soup was thicker. The tangy sauce used for the wraps was delicious, and the bread was thin and stretchy. The seasoning was on point, although nothing really wowed me enough to give it 5 stars. The service, food, and cleanliness were all good. Overall, it's a great place to visit.
Karim Sahyoun has brought the true taste of Falafel to Istanbul, Turkey. The moment you enter the chic eatery, the aroma takes dominance, the freshness and cleanliness of the restaurant is a huge plus for me. The food is delicious ok lezzetli). It brings the taste of Lebanon to Turkey. The crunchiness of the falafel and the freshness of the veggies shows the importance of quality offered by the brand. The ambiance of the bistro-like restaurant is modern chic. The seats are comfortable and the tables are clean. The service is good but could be better. I know you guys just opened, but the staff needs to be more attentive to customers and bring items requested (like coke, water or forks) faster than the food itself. However, they are friendly and professional looking, which is acceptable. The pricing is higher than normal for a falafel, but hey, what do you expect being located in a super touristic area? It is worth it Mr. Karim, I thank you for this wonderful Lebanese experience and wish you success.
