Pretty ok but basic and cheap foods. Great grub spot for your buck. Lou seems friendly, just didn’t appreciate when he proceeded to clap at me and hit the table to try and get my order. I get that he is a one man operation but remember that your customers move on their time. When I made my order of a double cheeseburger and fries. I was given a single cheeseburger with a price increase of $1 due to “giving him a hard time” when I bothered to ask why I couldn’t have time to order. Good spot, good and honest hard work, but poor hospitality.

Lou's is the perfect lunch spot if you're looking for a budget-friendly option. Keep in mind it's cash only. They serve simple grilled burgers and hot dogs at a low price ($4 for a cheeseburger). While they may not be huge (around 1/4lb), they won't break the bank either. Two of them are quite filling, even for someone who typically goes for larger burgers. You can add bacon for $1 and fries for $2. It's hard to find a better lunch deal in Ithaca. Lou, the owner, is also a wonderful person who serves his delicious food with a smile.
