Ivoryton Tavern

We love everything about this quaint welcoming tavern, especially when Carla makes the margaritas ;)The Ivoryton Tavern has charm, lots of history the bathroom soap always smells wonderful!Highly recommended if you are in the area or attending a show across the street.

We stopped in here after a day on the Essex steam train and riverboat, and this little Tavern was absolutely amazing. We ordered almost the entire appetizer menu and several entrees, and everything was fantastic! I especially recommend the zucchini fries and the grilled cheese, they were both out of this world! If you're looking for a local spot to hang in the Essex area, this place is the one for you!

My husband and I got the Fish and Chips. The fish was good but it was not worth 17 dollars for one little piece of fish and a little bit of fries. Extremely disappointed.
